Are you a tandem passenger?

  • From R950 per person per flight
  • From R1450 per person per flight – adventure flight
  • R300 – for pictures/video and this is an optional extra

The pilot takes the photos/video during the flight and when the flight is over we give you a 8GB micro SD card with converter to take away with you, and re-use.

Paragliding is a totally weather dependent activity, we need the right wind in the right direction, but we generally fly between 10.30am and 4pm, on any day that the weather is good, this includes holidays.

We have a number of sites in the Garden Route area, mainly Wilderness and Sedgefield, and where we fly from is dictated by the wind direction for the day.

You need to make your way to the take off site, we will send you directions with a pin on the whats app. If you don’t have your own transport, we can help you with various options depending on where you are staying.

As our activity is weather dependent, so we only take payment after the flight is completed. You can pay cash or credit card or EFT.

Yes you can. Our gift vouchers are valid for six months. To purchase a voucher, use the ‘contact form’

The flight is about 10 – 15 minutes, but you will need time before and after, so we recommend you put aside about one hour.

We suggest closed shoes, a long-sleeved top, sunblock and bring some water.

Anyone can fly from 5 years old and up, however if you are under the age of 16 years old, then you must have an adult sign a disclaimer form.

We fly passengers between 20kg and 125kgs.

On the afternoon before the date of your booking we will send a provisional time and place based on the forecast and then confirm on the morning of the date of the booking.

Are you a pilot wannabe?

The price for the course is R18,900

We recommend that you put aside at least 10-/12 days to allow for the odd non-flyable day because of weather.

We run courses every two weeks, and normally start on a Saturday, however, we are flexible if the advertised dates do not suit you, as we are a full time school with a number of instructors.

No, you do not need your own equipment for the course as we supply all that you need.

Yes we do, we have the only physical shop in South Africa, with plenty of choices of brands. During the course we can discuss what would suit you best with regards equipment to purchase, as we can see what style of flying you will be doing.

We give our students dealer discounts on equipment bought from Cloudbase, and if you are going to buy new it can be between R25,000 and R35,000 depending on what you buy.

Yes we have a range of second hand equipment, and any second hand gliders we sell are checked by us beforehand.

Yes, in fact we have one of the highest rated licenses.

Yes, we give our students discounted rate for Bed and Breakfast.

Are you a visiting pilot?

Yes, you need to have a current license from your resident country and then you need to become a member of SAHPA, it is called a ‘foreign temporary membership’, and it is the law from CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), and the cost is R500.

Yes a number of our sites have fees which need to be paid in advance.
