To fly as a tandem passenger, no previous experienced is required – you just need to bring your sense of adventure, a pair of sturdy closed shoes, a long-sleeved top and some refreshments for afterwards.
You will be flown by Jan or Khobi-Jane (SAHPA A-rated Tandem Flight Instructors), or one of their team, on these introductory flights to paragliding. Our priority is to be safe, to have fun, and help you create some beautiful flying memories. We’ve flown over 10 000 tandems and would love for you to experience the exhilaration of having a bird’s eye-view of nature with one of our instructors!
You too could be soaring along the magnificent Wilderness coastline with the birds, launching from the Map of Africa, flying over Dolphin Point, and even be doing some whale spotting in season.
You can enjoy the thrill of a paragliding flight as a passenger on any good weather day. We fly tandems at Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Sedgefield, Brenton, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay – the location will depend on the day’s wind speed and direction and we contact you on the morning of your booking to confirm where we will be flying. As we are weather dependent it is better not to leave your booking until the last day of your holiday to ensure a bigger window of opportunity.
Five years and older – you just need the inclination to fly! The experience is for the young, the old, and everyone in between
Our passengers’ weight should be between 20-125kgs, however, the wind strength on the day may influence how light or heavy a passenger we are able to fly with.
